“A farm built the way we'd want it run after we've handed it on — not before.”
Adrivan Farms began as a question: what does a serious, science-led second career on the land actually look like, built years before retirement rather than scrambled together after it?
The answer took shape across four flat acres in Sogaon, Shahapur — in the foothills where the Sahyadris meet the Konkan plain. Rather than one crop, we built eight: perennial orchards, protected cultivation, a dedicated mushroom facility, and a small integrated dairy and poultry line, each sharing water, manure, and labour with the others.
The name carries the family in it too. Adri is the root both children's names share — Aditya and Adrija — joined with van, meaning grove or forest. Adrivan: the grove that belongs to both of them.
